Amanda Pellizzari is a seasoned attorney with over 16 years of legal experience and a deep commitment to public service. She is currently running for Las Vegas Municipal Court Judge, Department 1, bringing a wealth of courtroom experience, compassion, and integrity to her campaign.
Amanda currently serves as the Public Attorney for Las Vegas Municipal Court, Department 5, where she represents indigent defendants through every stage of the legal process—status checks, sentencing, motions, revocation hearings, and trials. She is particularly known for her work with vulnerable populations, including individuals struggling with mental health challenges and addiction, often helping clients secure housing and support services.
In private practice, Amanda leads her own firm, the Law Office of Amanda Pellizzari, LLC, where she represents clients in criminal defense and civil litigation. She is qualified to handle serious criminal cases such as murder, as well as appeals, habeas petitions, and juvenile matters. Her trial experience is extensive, having served as lead counsel in numerous jury trials.
Amanda’s legal background also includes serving as a law firm partner, and as an Alternate Judge for Las Vegas Municipal Court. These roles have given her a unique perspective from both sides of the bench and a well-rounded understanding of the municipal court system.
She earned her Juris Doctor from the William S. Boyd School of Law at UNLV and holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She is admitted to practice in the State of Nevada and the U.S. District Court, District of Nevada.
Now, as a candidate for Las Vegas Municipal Court – Department 1, Amanda is ready to take her experience, dedication, and fairness to the bench—ensuring justice is served with compassion and integrity.
